Stilwell House:  Your Event Venue

The Stilwell House, a restored 1888 Victorian home, offers a unique venue for a memorable experience  for your next reception, promotion party, hail and farewell, class party, off-site session, meeting, re-union, retirement, awards ceremony, wedding reception, holiday party, baby shower, birthday party, welcome home celebration, luncheon, club meeting, class, graduation party, whatever.  Funds generated from the use of the Stilwell House help defray the costs of operating the house, including but not limited to utilities, insurance, and routine maintenance.   Call (210)224-4030 and leave a message or email us at for a detailed brochure describing the facilites available in the house.  You may also request a tour of the Stilwell House to see if it meets your needs.



This floor plan will help you plan your event.  The four main rooms are 18 x 18 feet.   The upstairs layout is similar but the rooms are set up as displays.  They can be toured and can serve as changing rooms for a bridal party.  There is an additional bathroom as well.

The Dining Room

The kitchen works well for staging food and refereshments.  There is no stove but there are two microwave ovens.  Sink for cleanup.  And if you forget to bring something, we have a supply of utensils and supplies.

The parlor can accommodate 25-30 seats for a lecture, class or meeting.
